Files

This is the place to download! No, I don't carry massive mp3s, just in case you were wondering. What's here? Some DWI/SM (Dance With Intensity and StepMania: both Dance Dance Revolution simulators for your computer. Find out more about this in the linkage section near the bottom) files to mostly OverClocked songs. In order to make those work, here's how to do it:

First, a very important fact. SM files only get created when you "edit" a song in the Stepmania program. DWI is the universal extension name for both simulators.
Save the .zip file to where your originals are. Each .zip contains only the DWI/SM. You have to get the mp3 off OC (don't forget to spend time looking at the information given on the site: reviews etc.
Dance away!

Important note1: There are quite a bit of DWIs. A lot of them are from someone else named "Macheezmo" at the DDR Maniax Forums. I felt like hosting them here to conform and save him bandwidth (aww). The only difference with my site is it doesn't have the mp3s with the zip file and he does. You can either download them at his geocities account or download at the actual OC site - the choice is up to yooooouuuuu.

Important note2: For the song "Wormaphobic Disorder", the song doesn't play at all in Stepmania (haven't tried DWI). Must be something with the song's encoding on the site. You are going to have to turn it into wav and then back to mp3. I suggest using Music Match Jukebox to do so. If you want to cut the song where I stopped the arrows, use Goldwave to do so.

Update!1 The "final" version of Stepmania is out now and it has the ability to save to DWI! I'll be putting DWIs out from now on, but Ill still have the SMs there for no reason except I'm too lazy to change it. Plus, it looks nice.
Can't figure out why my .DWIs won't work in your Dance With Intensity simulator? Find out about the bug here . . . or just play in Stepmania. I could get around to converting them all, but, yeah.
Update!2 Most all files are updated to where they all work in DWI now. There's only one SM now and that's string machine. Kaoss doesn't work in DWI. I haven't fixed any of them through notepad, I used Kamek's DWI fixer (yayz thankzes!) for the majority of them. There seems to be a bug with it though that turns purple notes into grey notes if there's a cluster of yellow notes nearby and if there's a weird formation of freeze arrows. Kaoss has some really weird freeze arrows at the end and when it's run through the fixer it screws them up bad. I remade them differently what I thought was better but somehow I got rid of those as well. I seem to have lost the advice to the notepad method of fixing things. So I gave up. If someone has that notepad method again I'll see if it works.
Update!3 If for some reason one of the downloads brings you to a place called freehomepages.com or something, simply right click and save as.

OverClocked ReMix

# File Type DWI/SM BG MP3 LI ST HV SM Blurb
1 SM String Machine - FFMusicDJ -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- First attempt ever, so it's ghetto. Don't let it stop you from getting my later ones, I get a lot better!
2 DWI Morning After - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- This one's a little shorter and more thought out than String Machine. Incorrect gap, but bpm is fine.
3 DWI Melodic Trance - U-ji -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- This one sounds like it would be from a DDR game. Its soft feel sounds like some japanese woman would start singing away, then a synth surprise comes to you at the end.
4 DWI The Sims AcidTechnoTrip - Daknit, Bard of Tarot -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Don't be afraid of the title. It's fun! Danceable even!
5 DWI Inside The Roadhouse - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Galloping fun! If you like gallops, you will like this song. If you don't like gallops, you will like the song.
6 DWI Revival Day Impoetus - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- -- SI Here it is: the famous Chrono Trigger ReMix by DJP with some crazy SMANIAC (Challenge) steps.
7 DWI Latex Ending - Kada/Latex -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Another slower dance like "Melodic Trance", this time with no synth surprise at the end; calm the whole way through.
8 DWI Wormaphobic Disorder - Protricity -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- I got an AAA on this one (funny I haven't AAA'd any songs until I started making these files), 500 steps, same as So Deep. 25 hold arrows.
9 DWI Main Theme (BlueSquareMix) - Rayza -- [mp3] -- -- SI SI 4:10 minutes of catchy Tetris-like music from a game like Tetris. Go to the mp3 site for more info. SMANIAC UPDATE
10 DWI Ice Capped - McVaffe -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- This was done for a request by DarkCecil13 from OC (be amazed), and that was when I couldn't believe I didn't do a McVaffe song yet.
11 DWI Kaoss - McVaffe -- [mp3] -- -- -- SI I made this as crazy as possible with no copying and pasting (like always). The groove radar in Stepmania almost touches the brim of the border on all sides.
12 DWI Let There Be Light - AmIEviL -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- This song on its own is cool, I'm not sure why I made it into a DWI, though. Dig the end, though.
13 DWI Love Hurts - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- I felt I need to do this song for me, you, OC, the world! Not my absolute favorite from DJP, but definitely one of his top ten.
14 DWI Fill More Funk - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- What can I say? DJP has a ton of mixes, and most all are quality, and I like them, and they don't repeat as much as the average song.
15 DWI Synthetic Demon (E1M5) - Scott Peeples -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- For a change of pace, here's a Peeples song! Fairly long, yet satisfyingly complex.
16 DWI Mystery In Red - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Perhaps my favorite DJP song in itself. Even if it's not dancey, I had to make a stepfile to this.
17 DWI Prime Time - Alexander Prievert -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Length of a DDR song, danceable, techno, twists, runs, new person's remix to make a DWI for, cool. Get it.
18 DWI Gerudo Interlude - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Another DJP song, not techno, cool in itself as usual, too many OC songs to do, another short review.
19 DWI SnakeMan Get Down - Disco Dan -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- The same thing repeats twice in this song, first time I have copied and pasted a large section, yet the second time around I add steps that go the bass as well.
20 DWI Psycho Underpants - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Definitely a stamina buster, but passers of Max300 shouldn't mind dancing it.
21 DWI Dub No Fantasy Alone Man - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Chillish Reggae style that sounds like the Cops theme sometimes. I should have made the BPM like Jam Jam Reggae where it's really slow, but that would require lots of 32nd notes 'n' stuff.
22 DWI Indie Rock Dajil - The Pancake Chef -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- I actually started this a long time ago. Nice and simple steps. Try to figure out where I fixed up some things from the past.
23 DWI 7 Years Broken - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- This one has djp singing in it! Go dance to his voice!
24 DWI Ocean Palace (Wave Breaker) - Children of the Monkey Machine -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Kinda like a PARANOiA. It might be cool to dance if you like jumps. In fact go ahead, guess I just suck at jumps.
25 DWI Ghetto Recursive - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- In the words of Joe Redifer: "yo yo if u b ghetto yo and b down wif da homiez den u need dis remix aight. dis mix ain't fo no proper english speakin foos yo. if u normally talk like dis den u pass da test. git da remix now yo. word."
26 DWI Deserted Industry - Beatdrop -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Some steps to a ReMixer-I-haven't-done-yet's song, industrial and harsh, though danceable.
27 DWI DeathAdder Trance - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Interesting song choice for making steps. I consider most of my non challenge steps to be danceable (except for maybe fill more funk and snakeman get down) even if they're often laden with 16th notes.
28 DWI 2K3 - Cyborg Jeff -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Nice dance music. Beware the intro, as it's about as long as The Great Giana Sisters's from DDRei Tournamix 2.
29 DWI Millenial Fair 2001 - Zeratul -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- "Can you face the future? Can you exist in a world of atomic war?"
30 DWI Arrakis Wormsign - Bart Klepka Yes [mp3] SI SI SI SI This was my DDRei Tournamix 3 entry. Figured since it was over I'd put it up for download for no reason. Isn't it fun to see all the difficulties complete with an actual banner and background? I really need to learn photoshop well instead of taking random images off the web. The zip file contains everything including a cut version of the song and a readme.
31 DWI Wicked Orchestra - Scott Peeples -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- I started this awhile ago, not the greatest of ideas, but this one actually incorporates something other than all the stepmania default notes.
32 DWI Hillbilly Rodeo - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Ever wanted to dance to Bubble Bobble music Hillbilly style? Now you can!
33 DWI Lightning Star - JAXX -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Very much like the Great Giana Sisters from Tournamix 2 as far as tempo goes. Starts off 300bpm fast guitar then goes into heavy-tripleted 130bpm lounge music.
34 DWI Oedo Pentatonic - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Double the BPM for double the fun. I don't know, it just seemed very right for this song. Danceable if you're crazy.
35 DWI Drum 'n' J-pop - Zeratul -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Steps purposefully cut halfway in the song. I make sure my steps stop at good parts as if the song were to stop right there. Good dance steps here.
36 DWI Slavic Roots - djpretzel -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Requested from someone. I like it for the most part. A little bit easier to dance than Oedo Pentatonic.
# DWI MegaDance Mix 2002 - MIDIman Yes [mp3] SI SI SI SI I did not create anything except the SManiac steps. The rest of the difficulties and background/banner were made by Demon Hyo (aka Alfred Persch) who submitted this to DDRei's Tournamix 3. Thanks to him for this awesomely shortened version of this song I probably wouldn't have made any steps to if he didn't. Definitely not as crazy as Kaoss, but a nice challenge for your feet and average BM syndrome for your fingers. I think it turned out nicely. You can get the full song in the mp3 link.
# DWI Caverns of Sagila - K. Praslowicz -- [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI BIT Live Arcade - Slow Poison -- [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI Dance Master - AmIEviL -- [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI Flash Fire - AE -- [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI Green Greens - Sgtrama Yes [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI James Brown in Space - djpretzel Yes [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI Metalroid - Ailsean -- [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI Music of Funk - Stephen Kennedy -- [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's
# DWI Power Puppet - Jivemaster -- [mp3] SI SI SI -- Macheezmo's

1 DWI MARIORADICALTECHNOMIX - DJ KAOZ -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- OMG U 4GOT 2 D/L THIS ^_^
2 DWI Higgins Goes to Miami - virt -- [mp3] -- -- -- SI I'm bored of this...because I had tons of fun the first 100 times! You're a demon if you can pass this with your feet. It only really gets hard at the end, I could see someone dancing the rest, but it's rather long. Go to mp3 site and download "Adventure Island".

1 DWI Wild Arms Opening Theme - Michiko Naruke -- [mp3] -- -- SI -- Thanks to Xiao-X Unlimited on the DDRManiax.net forums for reminding me of this song. I don't really know why I made steps, it was just right there in my face one day.
1 DWI Wild Arms Flashing Honor (Boomerang Flash theme) - Michiko Naruke -- N/A] -- -- SI -- The mp3 is included with the zip. This is my favorite Wild Arms song and up there with top video game songs of all time.
